| Product Description |
The Strep-tag® II (WSHPQFEK) and Twin-Strep-tag® (WSHPQFEKGGGSGGGSGGSAWSHPQFEK) are widely adopted affinity tags for the purification of recombinant proteins in basic research, diagnostics, and biomanufacturing. GenScript’s StrepCaptureXP Resin FF (Cat. No. L01091) is a next-generation affinity chromatography medium engineered for the efficient purification of Strep-tag® II and Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins. Functionalized with an innovatively engineered StrepCaptureXP ligand—a genetically optimized streptavidin variant—this resin enables high-affinity, high-specificity capture proteins from complex biological lysates, including those derived from mammalian, bacterial, and insect expression systems. The resin's high dynamic binding capacity, combined with mild and reversible elution conditions, ensures maximal recovery of biologically active proteins. It is especially suitable for applications requiring high purity and gentle handling, such as in the purification of membrane proteins, fragile multi-subunit complexes, or therapeutic candidates. |
