Background
Target Background Human IgG is the major immunoglobulin in blood and plays a key role in the humoral immune response. The Fc portion of human IgG binds to Fc receptor that can activate the complement system. Fc-tagged proteins are generated with DNA recombinant technology. The protein of interest is fused with the Fc tag. Most vectors encoding for Fc tag sequence use the Fc region of human IgG1. Protein A can be used for the purification of Fc-tagged proteins. Human IgG (Fc), mAb, Mouse is a useful tool for immunoassay of human Fc-tagged proteins and human IgG.GenScript Human IgG (Fc) Antibody, mAb, Mouse is produced from the hybridoma resulting from fusion of SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma and B-lymphocytes obtained from mouse immunized with human Fc-tagged protein.
