Biotin-Protein A, which is produced by covalently linking biotin to protein A, can be used in immunodetections, such as immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA, and immunohistochemistry.

Applications
Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by titration assay. Properties
Formulation Liquid, 2 mg/ml in PBS (pH 7.4) containing 10 mg/ml BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage The reagent can be stored at 4°C for short-term use, for one month. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C, where it will remain stable for 1 year from the date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. If slight precipitation occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify the solution by centrifugation before use.
