GenCrispr Cas9 protein (GenScript, Cat.No. Z03386) was loaded on a gel as indicated and then detected by Western blot using GenCrispr Cas9 antibody (1:3000 dilution) and Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L) [HRP],pAb (GenScript, Cat No. A10169) (1: 10000 dilution).

High Specificity: Only one specific target band is detected by GenCrispr Cas9 antibody in HEK 293T cell lysate transfected with Cas9 expression vectors.
HEK 293T cells were transfected with or without Cas9 expression vectors. After 24hrs, cells were lysed for Western blot assay. No proteins were detected in untransfected HEK 293T cells, and there was only one target band to be detected in transfected cells.
Lane 1-2: HEK 293T cell lysate transfected with CRPSPR-Cas9 vectors, 0.5 µl and 1 µl respectively.
Lane 3-4: Negative control (un-transfected HEK 293T cell lysate), 0.5 µl and 1 µl respectively.

Background
Target Background CRISPR/Cas9 system is one powerful gene editing tool to specifically modify target genes. Cas9 nuclease is an RNA-guided endonuclease that can catalyze cleavage of double stranded DNA. The GenCrispr Cas9 Antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody with Streptococcus pyogene (S. pyogenes) Cas9 protein as the immunization antigen. This antibody is used to detect the expression level of CRISPR/Cas9 in target cells.
